SOMA SHOWCASE - The Synth competition

We're excited to announce the very first competition showcasing SOMA Synth’s fascinating range of hardware and unique forms of musical expression.

Take the stage with a 1- or 2-minute finger drumming or modular performance using SOMA synths. From tight beats to deep drones and experimental soundscapes—anything goes, as long as it sounds spacey.

Schedule

Open to participants of all nationalities, the competition will take place on July 20th on the main stage at House of Music. In the days leading up to the event, you'll have the opportunity to refine your performance in one of our dedicated jam rooms.

Hardware

Only SOMA hardware is allowed in this competition. Participants may use their own gear or choose from the SOMA instruments available on-site at SMF.

Feel free to book one of our rehearsal rooms to prepare your showcase. Just reach out to our team on site for assistance.

Criteria

The wide spectrum of electronic music thrives on its diversity—so we’re keeping things open. No restrictions, just impress the crowd with your creativity, sound design skills, and rhythm-making abilities.
